Over time, I’ve figured out which tools genuinely make cooking easier for me… and which ones just take up space. This list is the short version: the items I reach for constantly when I’m meal prepping that make things easier.

You can tell these are well-loved! If the specific model is no longer available, I’ve linked to a more recent model (or the one I’m buying for myself next!).

AnySharp knife sharpener (paid link): A sharp knife makes prep faster and safer. This is the easiest sharpener I’ve owned by far.
Microplane fine grater (paid link): I use this a ton (garlic, citrus zest, parmesan cheese), and throw it right in the dishwasher after
Etekcity digital food scale (paid link):Gluten-free baking is less forgiving. Weighing ingredients is a reliable way to get consistent results without wasting time or ingredients.
Braun Immersion Blender (paid link):This replaces SO MANY appliances. I use it for soups, sauces, dressings, whipped cream, quick chopping, (even margaritas), and when I don’t want to whip out the whole blender.
George Foreman Grill (paid link): If you don’t have outdoor grill space (like me), this is the next best thing. It cooks quickly with minimal cleanup and no setup. It’s almost time for a new one- I’m ordering the fully submergible one!
Oster Blender, Food Processor, Smoothie combo (paid link): Same motor, multiple attachments. It saves me counter space and handles everything from smoothies to pesto to slicing without extra clutter.
Instant Pot (paid link): Great for rice, soups, shredded chicken, and batch cooking without watching a stove. I love that I can make ribs in less than an hour in this thing (rather than braising all day!) My model isn’t sold anymore, but the link is the one I’m ordering next.
KitchenAid Artisan Mini stand mixer (paid link): Especially useful for gluten-free baking, which can require high-speed and lengthy mixing. It handles thicker batters and doughs better than hand mixing and saves your arm muscles.
